Application example: truck levelling

Trucks with platform lifts, crains and concrete pumps have to be proper levelled before coming to action. A two-axis inclinometer (being the digital sprit level meter) mounted on the chassis gives the control unit the exact input to hydraulically level the truck on a safe and efficient way.

For functional safety the inclinometer can be used redundant or a safety-inclinometer can be used.

Sensor: inclination sensor QG65

Specific: 2-axis 30°, analog or CANopen interface, optional redundant / SIL2

By using ±30° inclinometers the truck can even function in rough terrain while truck levelling is still possible.
