The “Electronic Data Sheet” (EDS file) is a file format that describes the communication behaviour and the object dictionary entries of a CANopen device. They are specified in CiA306.
DIS EDS file contains already default values for some objects. You can find those default values in the sensor manuals.
Starting from July 2023, the EDS file version is aligned with the sensor’s firmware version. For your convenience, the catalog of available EDS files is provided below. To locate the appropriate EDS file corresponding to your sensor type and firmware version, please consult the list. Any disparities between firmware versions are elucidated in the accompanying release notes.
